Victoria Writers Festival

An annual three-day celebration of writers and literature, the Victoria Writers Festival introduces readers to acclaimed authors from near and far. The non-profit, community-based festival aims to make good writing - and good reading - available to all.

Join us for the 2014 Victoria Writers Festival, a literary feast of workshops, video poem screenings, gala readings, and panel discussions (on silence, writing for live audiences, writing as a queer woman, writing about the rural, and more).

The Carol Shields Lecture will be delivered by writer, storyteller and activist Leanne Betasamosake Simpson.
