| Echohead User Info... |  Here's what the Laney site says about the tone and the build quality, "The L20H offers serious tone that is often difficult to find in amplifiers costing twice the price Features such as gold plated PCB's and jack sockets, sealed gold contact relays are used in all signal paths for minimum sound coloration, and each amplifier comes fitted with the renowned "Type 4" large spring line reverb for the classic guitar reverb sound. Each Lionheart L20H features a hand stamped 'build number' in the order they come off the Laney production line, and comes with a custom made 'Lionheart' dust cover." Based on a NON-top boost AC30 tone, the Lionheart provides discriminating tonemeisters the best bang for your buck. This head sounds incredible. It takes distortion and overdrive pedals very well. An AC30 top boost turns in to a transistor radio when driven by pedals. This doesn't. If you love the sound of overdriven AC30's give this head a try. If you love the sound of a driven Marshall give this head a try. For this price, it's worth a trip to my house to hear it and try it. Also, the build quality of the Lionheart is excellent. Think Mesa Boogie levels of circuitry, materials, and craft. You will spend twice as much to get anything close to this L20H. It rocks. I also have a custom made finger joint pine 2X12 cab filled with extremely broken in Celestion Greenbacks that I might let go as well.
