Treebeard was a short lived band consisting of Dave Harris - guitar/bass/lead vocals, Pete Irving - guitar/bass, Jeremy Rogers - keyboards/vocals and Ben Henry - drums. Formed out of jam sessions in 1978 the band started playing a resident weekend gig at The Churchill (Bastion Inn) in 1979. The band had a very eclectic repertoire, ranging from the Peer Gynt Suite to Jimi Hendrix to country rock. The band folded in 1980 but was later somewhat resurrected as Blue Sky in the 80s.
