since circa 2007

The Dutchess & the Duke bring garage and punk sensibilities of their members’ past projects (the Flying Dutchmen, the Fe Fi Fo Fums, the Intelligence, Unnatural Helpers) to acoustic folk balladry. Marked by utterly charming boy-girl vocal harmonies and magnetic guitar hooks, the Dutchess & the Duke have made a thematically dark album of classic pop songs.
