NNNN “(Imagine a spazzed-out combination of Napoleon Dynamite, Michael Cera and a crackhead)… An adorable oddball anti-hero, Misson Bird is such a wonderfully formed character, it would be a shame if her twisted adventures ended here.” NOW Magazine, Toronto
Oh My Irma sees Haley McGee bring the memorable Mission Bird, a socially inept young woman with an insatiable appetite for connection, to the stage in her hilarious and mesmerizing “tour de force” play
A comedy with razor teeth, Mission Bird finds herself in front of an audience, defending an unnamable crime which YES, she committed, but it wasn’t her fault. The Tarantino-esque story takes macabre turns and Mission Bird’s ardent defense crumbles as she comes closer to revealing to the audience what she’s done – who she’s killed.
