I just heard four songs of the new Rancid Disc and two of the new Strike Anywhere and it was kickin ass all across the board. All I can say is that progression is obviously important for both bands cuz it's nothing you've heard before. - Tue, 12 Aug 2003 3:52pm

New rancid CD soudns good, although I feel bad for ol' Tim Armstrong, his breakup with Brody is felt in the songs, I think... Almost too whiny... Oh well. Lars Frederiksen has a sexy ass! - Sat, 16 Aug 2003 3:20am

How do they suck? They can play well (especially for a punk band...) write well, and are quite possibly the only "real" punk band to get big in the last 10 years. Sure their getting kinda poppy, but, hey, its still punk. Not real hardcore, but still. - Mon, 18 Aug 2003 2:28pm
