About

Peligroso Bonsai

“The bonsai is a tree whose growth has been limited and shaped by external hands. Calling it dangerous suggests that although it may appear small, it contains the strength of a giant. It is the representation of oppressed groups ready to expand.”

Peligroso Bonsai is a Mexican Reggae and Ska band formed by musicians, many of whom are the pioneers in the genre of Mexican Reggae. Comprised from musicians from the well known bands of Antidoping, Rastrillos and La Communa; Peligroso Bonsai are super excited to take this configuration into a new era, presenting fresh songs and also playing many of the classic and familiar songs that have been well loved nationally and internationally for over thirty years. The fans who who listen to reggae and ska know the voice, the rhythm, and the big, generous energy that they always bring to every show. Expect to hear something new, plus the hit songs that fans have been singing and dancing to for so many years.
