| McLovin User Info... |  Six war songs, many songs about horses. Good use of instrumentation. String section with five violins and a cello, electric, acoustic, tenor, gut string and baritone guitar. Banjo, Mandolin, jaw harp, marching snare, harmonica, fiddle, trumpet, and accordion. Horn section on new "My Saddlehorse Has Died", reminds me of Marty Robbins. Family Reunion is a catchy good time funny song. I like "Horse Soldier, Horse Soldier" "Lament for Lester Cousins" some lyrics - "....with the gambling came the drinkin' and the cocaine and the sinkin' that accompanies a man who's falling down and pretty soon the fightin' and the whoring every night and pills and loosing left his spirit on the ground" I guess it's country, but really it's just good music.
