Ultralord - We Hate You and Hope You Die

| Platoon User Info... |  The vocals on this album are raw and raged out. The vocalist on 'We Hate You and Hope You Die' is Andy Strickland in comparison to Corey Bing on Ultralord's previous album 'Act I'. Bahb Branca is on back up vocals and is essential to the killer vocal sound he and Strickland bring to the mix. The slugde, the psychedelic solos, the pure hostility, the otherworldliness that was Ultralord's previous album, 'Act I', is encapsulated on this disk as well. The length of Ultralord's newest release 'We hate You and Hope You Die' is a fair bit longer as it combines the elements of sludge, thrash, and psychedelia for an extremely aggressive and heavy fucking sound. The drumming of former vocalist C. Bing helps to thrash out songs and to send the listener into a psychedelic sludge that is created by bassist Bahb Branca and guitarists Scott Stearns and Andy Strickland. Shining moments of brilliant solo work and song writing can be seen in, but surely not limited to, the songs 'Blood Sinner' and ‘Don’t Fear The Reefer’. Once again we see songwriting that is in your face while also providing a psychedelic mixture of heavy fucking rhythm and incredible solos that help distinguish Ultralord's sound. Songs to kill for include, Negative D, Don't Fear the Reefer, Blood Sinner, and the list could go on.
