I am really having trouble deciding how I feel. It is very musical, catchy, there is a lot of depth... but sometimes it just sounds like they have like 3 song styles which just get switched up throughout the album. There is so much repetition... it can be a good thing, it establishes that Jets Overhead groove, but I also get sick of it after a while. This sounds unfair though, I think each individual song is really well done. I guess just, as an album, it is too much of the same stuff. I get sick of it part-way through. But if I was to hear any one song on its own, I would enjoy it. It is really well done for a local release, maybe it will grow on me. What do you guys think? - Tue, 29 Nov 2005 5:40am

I find it very much a mix between Early radiohead and The Stills.

The album I quite like, but I find it drags on a bit. I think if they were to maybe boot out a few of the songs, it might make the dynamics of the album as a whole a bit more interesting. - Wed, 30 Nov 2005 3:27pm

I'm in love with this album, and it didn't need to grow on me. Seeing them live affected how I feel about the album, and makes me appreciate the recording that much more. Don't write it off until you see them live. And pick up the 5 song EP for a slightly different sound, which you may find compliments Bridges. I tend to listen to both discs back-to-back. - Mon, 5 Dec 2005 12:11am
