well holy fuck what can i say, another awsome band with all the right stuff, desensitized are staking well deserved claim at the top of the heap. They had my attention from start to finish, catchy big hooks and raw devistating thrash.I regrettably missed MeatLocker though, but iam sure they kicked ass as always! - Sat, 27 Sep 2003 11:08am

to be totally honest nothing stood out for me with Desensitized in the beginning. Not sure why. It seemed once they played the Sepultura cover (and their drinks kicked in) that they seemed to find their comfort zone on the stage. But from that point on it was like a different band. The crowd livened up, the music fucking destroyed. Those that werent in the mosh stood there with their mouths gaping open. They were a fuckin awesome mix of old school metal from slayer to macabre to......! Meatlocker took the stage shortly after and played a signature tight set showing much confidence and ability to work the crowd that only comes from a summer of playing out of town shows. Very glad I got to see them at this point! Mr Hell blowing kisses at me made everyone a little uncomfortable though.... - Sat, 27 Sep 2003 11:46am

Actually he was blowing them at me to seduce me into buying their CD...haha, no really, their CD's fucking sweet. A little shorter than expected, but the production is clean and the riffs are really catchy, I like the tight weird off-time stuff they're doing these days, their set was fuckin' solid too, I liked it.
Desensitized...what can I say? I told all my friends that they fuckin' slayed and fortunately they listened and came out and agreed after the first couple songs...can't wait to play with them again on Halloween! Oh, did you guys know about that? Ah, oh well....
Fuck and ANOTHER wicked show next Saturday at Logan's!!! First KATAKLYSM then INFERNAL MAJESTY then the ML7/DESENS show and now PARIAH again!!! The metal is flowing almost every fucking weekend with Metal Monday's at Logan's on top!!! Shit, looks like I picked a good year to move back!! - Sun, 28 Sep 2003 6:45pm

Glad to see the four people who were up front posted a review. Thank you for coming out! And thank you to the other 10 who stood by the bar.
Desensitized were very cool and we are looking forward to playing with them much more in the future.
And Clark, don't confuse my middle finger with blowing kisses. - Mon, 29 Sep 2003 4:00pm
