METALHEAD!% Well I finally got to see King Bong, and I was mighty impressed. Due to an earlier post on Live Victoria somewhere I showed up with a couple of friends at 4:20. During the course of the next couple hours a pile of pot smoking buddies showed up early as well. We started toking and toking some more. By the time the first band came on we were all just a pile of burn outs sitting in the corner. Too stoned to stand up, but not too stoned to enjoy the bands. I really liked Green Law Avenue, they were really groovin. Zola Bud were very entertaining and gave me that energy boost I needed to get off my ass. King Bong were energetic and played some incredible songs. I still have that song about growing pot stuck in my head. The raffle afterwards was fun and I wish more people would be like Ted and give those kinds of prizes. I was too burnt out to introduce myself to the bands but thanks for the show! - Mon, 23 Jun 2003 2:09pm
SweetGrass Thanks man! We had a great time and I love playing nights packed full of solid bands like GreenLaw Ave. and Zolabud. It certainly was a more listening oriented crowd and when we were playing, it was awesome to watch the sea of groovin' heads in the mist. If you want to dance come on down to Lucky on Thursday and join us with the Sweathogs and Shakey T. - Mon, 23 Jun 2003 4:05pm

Thanks man, it was an interesting night to say the least..
lot's of horrible technical problems..and man we were tired,(3 shows in 3 nights is not recomended), but the other bands and Shakey T were so on that it did not matter!
The main thing is that Ted had a great birthday and we made some cash for the cause.thanks for coming and brining your friends..and thanks for the nice words about our songs..
Peace,
