Me being lazy, I was waiting for somenone to post a Dinosaur Jr. review and then would add to it. Since no one has, here’s mine: it totally slayed.
One of Barlow’s new songs Back To Your was a highlight, and Murph was a madman on the kit. Mascis was unreal. Solos! Solos! Solos! - Wed, 30 May 2007 1:44pm

I was doing the same thing you were. Ha ha.

Yes, that was an amazing show! Barlow made the entire show in my opinion. Not only was he jumping around like a lunatic while on stage, I've never seen anyone play a bass with that technique before.

I was told that they only play stuff that Lou was on originaly, and new stuff, but I'll be damned if they didn't play "The Wagon" and tear it a new one!!!

Barlow also name checked The Neos being from Victoria and they play a shredding hardcore tune at the very end. Was it a Deep Wound song? I was really deaf by then.

All in all, it was top drawer! - Wed, 30 May 2007 4:38pm

Finally, someone else started the thread.

Honestly I was less than impressed. I thought that the bass was muffled, Joe had another word for it but I can't remember it now. I didn't like how the last line of each sentence was chopped off.

I hung out in the back sober though so that might have something to do with my perception of the show. I had a coat and a sweater hugged to my belly to keep the volume down for the little critter.
It was nice to do some catching up with Bryn though. - Thu, 31 May 2007 12:08am
