| trevor corey User Info... | ....oh yeah, almost forgot. I ran into my old friend Evan. He said he was there to record the show. He said the equipment was on from the begining. In other words, all three sets are recorded. I guess it's up to the bands if they want to release it. .....oh yeah, one more thing,..........SWEET MULLETs! - Mon, 14 May 2007 12:47am Edited: Mon, 14 May 2007 12:47am | ||
| ricky jak User Info... | Teenage Grandfather Head @ Lucky Bar may 07 Teenage Head. Frankie comes to town… This is a historical Canadian punk band. They have played punk rock since 1978. Ontario was their home. Their first few records are a must own for any Canadian music enthusiast. So tonight some thirty years later the original band comes to the sleepy town of Victoria B.C. They play to a splatter of people, some of the older folks in the audience probably saw this band back when they where teenagers… Now they are old. Frankie looks like a well used logger only he probably hasn’t been logging. As soon as they took to the stage and the first cord was struck I realized we where seeing the real thing here. Original punk rock that ranks with the likes of Ramones, Subhumans, Clash, Iggy, and Gene Vincent. “Picture my Face”….I’m glad I went and can add them to my personal list of amazing bands that have played Victoria. All I can say is Teenage Head are the real thing…. Not poser imitators like the first two bands! -dustin JaK - Mon, 14 May 2007 1:19am | ||
| trevor corey User Info... | . Thanks dustin JaK, great review. Why were the bouncers so harsh to, well, you know who, no names mentioned. - Mon, 14 May 2007 1:39am Edited: Mon, 14 May 2007 2:40am | ||

| Ty Stranglehold User Info... | When you wear tight black gloves, you can't help but be harsh... Just ask OJ. Great show all around. I can't imagine what the guy in the original Teenage Head post was on about talking that they sucked now. I assure you, they don't. I've seen a lot of old fuckers playing in bands (hell I know a lot of them) but the truth is, Teenage Head are bringing the Geriatric Rock like few can. Period. Beaumonts and Keg Killers were the perfect match for TH too. Too bad work had to happen this morning. - Mon, 14 May 2007 9:21pm | ||
| trevor corey User Info... | I just wanted to add, now that I'm sober, and before the little blue sleeping pills kick in to much more. The guitar player (name?), shredded like a pro master. Best part of the act. Like watching a guy that should have been waaay more famous. I also noticed a subtle media prescence, film and audio. ....as far as the "incident", couldn't have been that bad, they let him back in. - Mon, 14 May 2007 9:36pm Edited: Mon, 14 May 2007 9:38pm | ||
