| brooke User Info... | CHET's CD release party was great! The night was organised strangely, so that most people only got to see CHET play, like, 3 songs. But they were good songs, nice softly-intense songs, and there was lots of other stuff to keep me interested. GENEVIEVE sang her Cat Power-ish songs in french to a very captive audience (the french is a big selling point for me- actually, if you want to hear her, I think she'll be on my radio show at CFUV in the near future: fridays 4pm... that's a shameless self-promotion aside, sorry.). There was a magic show by the GREAT GUFFONI. I have no idea how he did all that stuff. Amazing. And BERTRAND RUSSELL which was really (drunken) Carey from Frog Eyes. - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 4:04pm | ||
| Gleamer User Info... | yeah the night was great. although the main disapointment was that the same "the great gaffoni is playing next" joke was rehashed from the last time he did an local show. with Chico. Chet ruled but I agree it was organized all weird so I saw them only a bit.
