| Jesse User Info... | Leaves eyes is the worst band I've ever seen in my life. There singer is amazing, hugely talented female vocalist. However, there was not a single note on guitar that was interesting... haven't been that angry watching a band on a huge succesfull tour in a long time. | Sati User Info... | I already disqualified leaves eyes on account of the bad name.. kind of a dew scented deja vu. Actually, this was a rare occurence when I was with people & we were waiting for someone to get here off the ferry, so I was late. I'm not a big BG fan, not really my thing, but yeah, gotta hand it to them, they were excellent, especially with the biggest songs. What was even more amazing was the crowd - all ages of metalheads who knew all the words & sang along with everything. That always blows my mind in Vancouver. That was a true blue metal crowd. They even started singing on their own before the band went on and between songs. What was totally funny was this big mean scary metalhead getting all soppy leading up to this show and then looking down and confessing in this tiny helpless voice "i love this band" haha. - Fri, 17 Nov 2006 12:22am Edited: Fri, 17 Nov 2006 12:26am | ||
| Celticparadox User Info... | This show kicked so many kinds of ass that I can't even keep count. OK where to begin.. 1. Leaves Eyes - Musically allright, good singer, but what's with letting Mikey the guy that drives the bus sing? Seriously this guy needs to stop trying to hype the crowd...the music is supposed to do that. Point of order, he had good hair. 2, Blind Guardian - what can i say except that was coolest thing i have ever seen. The crowd singing the Bard's Song was so incredible. Likely Hansi could have had a seat and the crowd would sing everything. There were people there who DROVE fromCalgary and points further to see this show and I don't blame them, i'd pretty much crawl over white hot broken glass to get to that show. Then coming home on the Ferry it was super stormy and there were a bunch of Bards on the boat and we were like "who cares if the boat sinks, I've seen Blind Guardian, I can die happy now."
