Season opener for dance series. Not bad, choreography left a little to be desired. Musical score very good, very jazz. Original music by Jazz Septet.
Standout performances by Makaila Wallace, I see a bright future for this young dancer. Also Donald Sales in the male principal role, and Simone Orlando as Blanch, Stella's sister.
Tonight was like a glass of water after the summer ballet drought.

Opera is not really my thing. Seen a few, maybe just never seen a good one. I love them ballerinas though. Cool job man, I have a great love for the Royal, and I know how to get good cheap seats. If your into rockabilly you might know my photographer friend Anastasia. Hell we probably already met. Small town this is. - Mon, 2 Oct 2006 1:12am Edited: Mon, 2 Oct 2006 1:13am

Cool. Tapas at Vista18 is very cool on thurs/friday nights with live jazz, organic/free range tapas and a well stocked bar not to mention 18th floor views. BTW I got an email from Matt Ellis today with a picture of peewee holding a can of "pop". Somethings just look like they belong together. Hehe. No, thanks. I've got some bulldozers to drive around and knock over buildings with. Then I gotta chainsaw down an entire forest. No time for jazz and the ballet.
You two enjoy yourselves! - Tue, 3 Oct 2006 6:37am

I like the Vista 18, too bad I work every Thurs/Fri night. Hey Trevor have you checked out the bar at the new old bailey? Not too shabby either. We should go for some single malts some night. - Tue, 3 Oct 2006 1:32pm
