| moron User Info... | People got into SG because traditional porn was lame ass and / or didn't reflect their interests. Cheers - Thu, 21 Sep 2006 9:35pm | ||
| Brian VIHC User Info... | Ughh...internet hearsay does not count as evidence of "racism" on the part of the (part) owner. What he said was "no one would care if Indonesia disappeared forever" or something similar - this is clearly not racist when placed in the context of him saying that the First World doesn't care enough about the Third World. A sizeable number of the models claiming "mistreatment" are doing so based on the clause in their contract that they weren't allowed to model for competing websites, and when they did they were terminated. This is pretty standard for ANY modelling job. I'm curious about how these people believe they were mistreated when MOST models on SG shoot their own photosets. Did they feel as though they were self-abused too much? - Thu, 21 Sep 2006 10:28pm | ||
| NOISE NOT BOMBS User Info... | actually the clause said that they could model for other sites if it was not the same photosets, and models that did that (different photo sets) were terminated any ways. Others had variouse charges too, including I believe there was one assault charge if I remeber correctly, charges of being payed only $100 for a set when their contracts stated $300, and many other such accusations. http://groups.myspace.com/TheSGDebate - Fri, 22 Sep 2006 3:29pm | ||

| Brian VIHC User Info... | Yeah that's all hearsay dude. Payments have increased over the years for photosets. When the site first started it was $100, then it increased gradually over the years - these are women asking for that money because they feel that they are owed the same as what models are getting paid now (which is $500 per set). The contracts have said that models can pose for other sites as long as the sites DO NOT COMPETE directly, as in sites that are similar in theme to SG - if it's a competing site, they're gone, and the models who did this either should have read their contract more carefully or had an attorney look at it for them. I know, because I've seen and read the original contracts from years ago, when the management was FAR more lenient than it is today. I'd take anything you read on the internet with a huge grain of salt. I'll take my personal experience as evidence over internet gossip any day. - Fri, 22 Sep 2006 9:45pm Edited: Fri, 22 Sep 2006 9:45pm | ||
