WOW! That was one of the best shows I have ever seen, and I've seen alot of shows. African superstar. Baaba opened with a solo acoustic. Then was joined on stage by his band and dancers. At one point I counted 14 performers. The show was a cultural experience for me. The drumming, the wardrobe, the dancing. I felt like I was in the presence of royalty. To have such an international superstar grace our whitebread town is something to behold. My only disapointment was that there were empty seats. I think that the ticket price may have detered the alternative lifestyle people that would appreciate a show like this. - Mon, 26 Jun 2006 10:25pm

It was a fun time, thanks to a promoter who invited me and a couple friends to go for free. I have pictures and video footage but the video is like 300 megs (it is a high res vid of the encore song). - Tue, 27 Jun 2006 12:21am

Great music, great costumes, great atmosphere. It was obvious that the band and dancers were really enjoying themselves onstage, which was great to see. I'd never been to a show even remotely close to this sort of thing before, so it was a real cultural eye-opener. Good times all around!

And I second Tyler's thanks for the free tickets! - Tue, 27 Jun 2006 12:10pm
