Lets just settle all of this but-ass trickery.

I am Jason Cook. I do not play drums in black tie social. I do not play keyboards in Couting Heartbeats. I do not play with Vincat (as much as i love them) or that 70's band. I am proud to say that I am a Theset groupie. Tristan, let me love you.

Long live Theset/Rod. - Fri, 1 Jul 2005 11:22pm

Thanks to the fifty fifty, the other bands, and the crowd. Also thanks to the guest players we had, and will be having again. It felt wonderful to play again, half a year later I might add.

Counting Heartbeats: Solid, professional sound. Great singer.

Reindeer Tiger Team: Blew my mind. High energy, post whatever performance.

thanks everyone
love,

Twas a very gnarley show.

We (Counting Heartbeats) had a fun filled time moving and shaking alongside two very skilled groups of musicians.

Reindeer Tiger/Team: Brilliant. A two person band with a symphony of mojo. I fully loved it.

Vin Cat: Second time seeing these guys and I must say they create some definite beauty and hipness, and hip beauty for that matter, during thier set. I totally have one tune's melody stuck on mental repeat as I type this comment.

A grand thanks to Lauren at 50-50 for throwing this show. http://www.countingheartbeats.com
so be it. - Sat, 2 Jul 2005 9:47pm

the first show I didn't bring my camera to, in the last few months.

Counting heartbeats are amazing. I have heard mixed reviews from peeople based on other shows. But anyone who doesn't like them is CRAZY. They were amazing. My favourite band of the night. Insane energy, audio ambient landscapes, with a nod to the approach of indie rock and even the screaming/energy of emo violence. I will go to any other counting heartbeats show I hear of. I will buy merch. You are awesome guys and have my full support.

Reindeer/Tiger Team were pretty cool. Had a fun sound, I liked how that all went. Glad they came.

Vin cat.. I don't think it was their best show but it was fun. Loved the intro to everything, hahaha. And you played Somebody Stole my Applesauce. The show (today) at Gary Oak was better in my opinion. Sound was better. The 5050 show had energy though. I enjoyed it. - Sat, 2 Jul 2005 10:19pm

Thank you so much for the kind words Tyler!
I am very amped that you dug our music.
It was rad meeting you man,
talking about intense stage antics and what not.
In fact, it was rad meeting all the cool people we met that fateful night at the 50-50. - Sat, 2 Jul 2005 11:48pm

funny enough tyler, i get that question alot. People are always asking me if i am high/drunk. the answer: i do not drink or do drugs of any sort. my special blend of insanity and hyper-activity is all natural. I will however take your question as a compliment. yes, i was really into everything.

i can't afford to loose any brain cells. if i do one of my organs will probably shut down or something. - Fri, 8 Jul 2005 6:55pm
