it was a night fulll of blurriness and flurries of joy... smokes of fatties and drank a hellofalot. But now for my review i guess...
Sunshine- i didn't like them one bit... just not my bag. kinda iggy pop meets atdi. They were pretty tight but everyone lacked energy in the place to get it going.
Further Seems Forever- alot better than i thought they'd be... As you all know chris carabababalala(how ever you spell is fucking name) dont sing for them anymore, which leaves me to wonder how such classics as pride war and that moon song(dont remember the name probly cause im stoned as hell) really good... the singer is the singer from atticus and yeah he's pretty dam good and fits in well. All in all i liked their set alot as i don't know much about them other than what i sorta tasted from the 2 songs i listed(of which are the only 2 songs from them i've heard since hearing them like 2yrs ago)
SPARTA- FUCKING AMAZING! that's all i can pretty much say. They played almost every track from both wiretap scars and porcelien. I was floored with the way they played collapse and glass house tarot was fucking tight as per norm. But compared to the show at lucky where there was about 1/3 the ppl watching sparta(this show came very close to having a tighter more cohesiven audience... ie no moshing idiots... i have nothing against moshing just not to sparta)...
as for the location of the show, it was as any big room sounds... (
I know this post is long but i really enjoyed this show and wish more bands like sparta and further seems forever would make the stop over here when they're in vancouver. It was worth the 30$ tix...

Sparta really impressed me. It's good that they played all their hit songs in a long set and not do an encore. Unlike other headlining bands who leave out 1 or 2 hit songs, leave the stage and come back as soon as you realize there's an encore coming; so I respect that a lot.
