I missed the first band. Someone told me Hit Me Back were making fun of them while they played. Bury What's Dead .. played some songs. j/k their new stuff is really kvlt and brad and jeff make them sound SO tight.

Hit Me Back were good, besides the fact that they were REALLY good for young kids. I guess you can't fault them too heavily for ragging on the first band though, seeing as you can't really expect children to hold to the level of maturity that seasoned veterans like BWD possess (supporting the first act). Plus they're a prime example of age not being an excuse to suck. - Tue, 23 Nov 2004 11:39pm

this show was fun. the fifty fifty is a great venue, even if it apparently costs a lot to rent. i missed the first band, but the other two very much surprised me. bury whats dead were great, i'd never seen them before. and hit me back were totally rad. in true punk rock spirit, for sure. it was all a nice change from the purebred hardcore that i was expecting. i hope there are more fun punk shows like this soon. - Wed, 24 Nov 2004 12:08am

scott.. you are too witty.. or is it wit when you just speak the truth... o fuck.

i thought the first band had a few good parts.. they were rough.. but they played. too bad about chuck norris.. hit me back were way better than what i was expecting.. super nice kids.. and a really high energy set. i had a fun night. i really like the 50/50.. would be a cool place to have some more punk/hardcore/metal shows at.

ps.. canon.. your dead! have fun breaking your back for me.. bitch! - Wed, 24 Nov 2004 12:10am

It was great to finally see BWD out of the Burnside Basement (RIP)! Very killer songs and this venue actually allowed the technicality and prominence of the songs to shine through. Glad I made the trek. - Wed, 24 Nov 2004 4:04pm
