| wee User Info... | Just checking to see what anyone else thought of last night's show. The Advantage were kinda fun, especially if like me, you had spent a large portion of yr early teens playing Nintendo. Some sweet duelling guitar bits and standing on one leg playing as well. Neil Hamburger had the room divided. Some wanted him off the stage. Some wanted him dead. Some were laughing their asses off, especially certain Lucky employees. I had just as much fun watching/listening to the reactions of people around me. It was a schtick and saying something like "He's the worst comedian ever!" just adds fuel to the Hamburger fire. Despite the false start thanks to some piercing feedback, Pinback put on a great show. I was slightly disappointed that there were only a few songs from the new album, which is most excellent. I kinda hoped for more of an encore, but Rob Crow playing a solo version of "Astro Zombies" was definitely worth hanging around for. - Mon, 22 Nov 2004 4:31pm | ||
