wicked show boys. these boys rip shit up, totally surprising considering the size of the group. simon says "originality is f**kin' key. love what ya do for us. we got some new shit goin' down and chicks dig it. any band that has A presence here deserves the support, 'cause were dyin' and desperate." i say simon's drunk but his enthusiasn is deserved. simon needs to know "can we start thinking for ourselves again?" in response i say we've done too many narcotics and must be going before simon sounds any more emo and completely embarasses himself. heh-heh. don't hate him for his silly vices. - Sun, 24 Oct 2004 3:32am

Death From Above fucking slayed me. They were so fucking good. Only two guys on stage and most four and five piece bands cant make that big of a sound. Bought a c.d. at the show I havent listened to it yet but I hope it lives up to the live experience. Simon was looking pretty damn funny at the end of the night, I was having a good time standing there watching you two at the bar, he looked mere seconds away from flailing. Ya there was some headlining band at the show as well, not as lame as I thought they'd be but not my thing. - Sun, 24 Oct 2004 9:48am

they were good for sure. i met them after and they are chill guys, too. and i was pleasantly suprised with metric.

on another note-- the sound sucked for death from above but was sweet for metric. actually, the sound for metric was far better than i have ever heard it in sugar (and i have heard it really bad. for instance at the modest mouse show a year ago.) - Sun, 24 Oct 2004 7:19pm
