| Mr. Hell User Info... | Promotions Unleashed booked this show. Zero promotion, didn't come to the show, no bar tab. We were paid $5 at the end of the night after at least 15 people paid $10 to get in. Would rather be told there is nothing to pay out, except it is obvious she paid herself via the assistant she sent. Undeserved promo cost payout. Theft from the bands...especially an out-of-town band. End result: Tessa Wensel of Productions Unleashed is a promoter to avoid at all costs! You will be short changed. Other than that, the 30 or so people that were there seemed to really have a great time. Hopefully they spread the word and the next show is that much better. Thanks to Thorntyr for doing their best to arrange a show for us. They will be here on October 15th at Logan's with us and Faceman. - Tue, 10 Aug 2010 4:21pm | ||
| Sati User Info... | Awww, sorry to hear that. She was at the Bourbon but I don't know if she even lives here anymore and the media club aren't too active beyond their standard promotions. But 15 on a Saturday night! I thought they at least had a bit of a regular crowd to justify not doing more. If you want I can try to get you on something decent for next time. Let me know. | Mr. Hell User Info... | I don't think listing it in these show listings would have helped. It's just one of those first show in Vancouver without a huge drawing band to play with things. The one huge plus was that I made nice with an actual promoter who puts on shows and promotes them properly. Both my bands are always open to getting on decent bills anytime of course. I have had no responses from every Vancouver promoter I contact, so I am open to any assist available, thank you. - Wed, 11 Aug 2010 4:41pm | ||
