Fucking incredible. Both bands did wicked wicked super long sets. This was the first time I'd seen the hoodwinks and they were excellent. and this was the best i've ever seen the kingpins. Also I'd never been to this venue before and the venue is kicking too. deffinitely a super rad show. - Sun, 6 Jun 2004 9:06am

PROPS to everyone that came out and celebrated the final big ska show before VICTORIA'S 5TH ANNIVERSARY SKA FESTIVAL. Both bands were awesome and had a blast!

One of the best things I liked about the show was that the Kingpins and Hoodwinks made an effort for everyone to see them by alternating their sets. This meant those that had to leave early could see at least one 45 minute set from each band.

The Kingpins played one of their last shows as "The Kingpins" you'll see in a very long time. The Hoodwinks will be backing up Strangejah Cole at the Victoria Curling Club in a month and a half's time.

For the show, glad to see everyone had a sweet time! -- Perfect warm up for Ska Fest.

BTW: Seeing The Kingpins in Saltspring the night before infront of a packed house was also a blast:)

Peace! - Sun, 6 Jun 2004 3:14pm
