Le Drummer from Fast Jacket here. Just want to say a big thanks to Lucky Bar for having us play with The Span and Speed to Kill.

We missed Speed to Kill's set as we had to cart our gear back to storage. Too bad, I was looking forward to it. What did others think?

Really enjoyed The Span. Loved the energy and the tunes. I understand the bassist was with the group just 3 days - he did an excellent job and I enjoyed his jazzy influence to what was already a great set/sound.

Kudo's to the soundman as well. Felt comfortable on stage and appreciated his laid back attitude while still maintaining excellent results/sonic balance.

This was our first gig together. If you were there, I'd love to hear what you thought. We had a blast and it was nice to shake those first show jitters and stiffness off. Looking forward to #2. If you have a gig and need an act, look us up!

Cheers. - Fri, 30 Apr 2004 4:10pm
