| Erin User Info... | Our little group of four - vocals/guitar, vocals/keyboard, drums, and cello - is looking for an upright bass dude or chick to jam with. We're just starting out but having a good time. All of us have a good chunk of previous musical experience so we're looking for someone confident and competent. Age isn't a big deal, since our members range from 18-25. What kind of music do we play? We don't even know yet. We all have different musical tastes - from folk to classical to experimental to pop-rock to jazz to emo and many more - that are kind of melding in an interesting way. Umm... We all like Radiohead. At least two of us like the local band "Chet". Our first song we put together was an unusual cover of "Famous Blue Raincoat" - though we'd like to avoid being another cover band. If you want an idea of my dream bassist just take a listen to "Soul Coughing". Come and jam with us in this exciting formative stage and you'll get to give us all your fabulous creative input. Plus we have our own cute little jam space. So yeah, if you play a mean/funky/jazzy/mellow bass, want to have fun hanging out with other music-lovers and have the wisdom to realize that a big ego is the ultimate sign of insecurity, drop us a line.
