| Chris Brown User Info... | We currently consist of a rythem guitarist (Chris Brown), as well as a bassist (Rob Hamilton). Our two main influences are early Slayer, DarkThrone, as well as early Death (first two albums) and Bathory. We currently have 5 original songs and we cover 'Black Magic' , 'Evil Has No Boundaries', 'The Antichrist' all by Slayer, and 'Welcome To Hell' by Venom. Our sound is definatly not orchestral/industrial influenced, we have a definate old school 1st/2nd wave flavour to our music....So in other words , we don't sound too much like new Satyricon or Dimmu Borgir. | Chris Brown User Info... | Old Slayer is timeless old style black/thrash metal !!So much can be learned from the early masters like Slayer in terms of song construction, memerorable riffs etc. 90% of these mid-nineties 'euro-styled' black metal groups cannot hold a candle to the early to late eighties black metal groups. Of course there are Carpathian Forest, DarkThrone etc. who obviously did their homework!!
