| Jenny User Info... | Surfrider Foundation Victoria is throwing a benefit event at Steamers on Septemner 28th, 2006. We need a couple of bands to donate their time to play for a crowd of surfers and general beach lovers. The event starts with a fashion show. We would like to get two bands so that you only have to donate a set or two worth of time. Proceeds from this event are going to various environmentaly concerns including lobbying for sewage treatment, education on protecting the ocean for kids and protection salmon spawning streams etc... We will be getting tons of media coverage for this event and will be sure to mention the bands in the press. We are looking for bands with a funky sound that you can dance to. Nothing too mainstream or classic rocky and no cheese. Rap, reggae, funk, rock all good. Email me if you are interested in this great oppertunity for some publicity and fun.
