| Marcella Moorcroft User Info... | I am looking for bands that would like to perform in a charity concert on June 5th. The beneficiary of all funds will be UNICEF, as Lucky Bar has agreed to waive venue costs between 8 and 10 p.m. As this is a Cross Canada Concert Series, all bands and venues are being promoted in all towns together: Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver, and (of course) Victoria. This concert is an opportunity to bring local artists and fans together, receive positive publicity, and have a lot of fun in the process. For information about the organizers of this event, visit http://www.metro-united.org. If you're interested, you should know we don't have any extra funds for transportation and/or accomodation, at least within reason. So if you are from Vancouver, you would have to have friends or relatives to stay with, and pay other costs yourself. It may seem like a lot to ask, but it is for a great cause, and ensures as much money will go to UNICEF as possible. Add a post to the thread if you're interested in helping out.
