wow. that's actually quite fucked up. i just use a big ass chain and a big assed lock. it's kind of hard to look inconspiccuous walking down the street with a fucking bolt cutter. mind you, it's a different story after the sun goes down. - Mon, 20 Sep 2004 8:58pm

Figured that one out a few years ago. It's great for opening vending machines or anything with a similar lock - Mon, 20 Sep 2004 11:12pm

Why bother? The many news stations both local and national have footage of countless people doing it over and over again. But I would like to try it on some bike I find dowtown in the early morning... - Tue, 21 Sep 2004 9:29am

It's been done. Loads of high priced mountain bikes (we're talking $5000 range) are getting jakced in Vancouver now, so savagely. I'm part of a mountain biking bulletin board and theres been 17 reported bike jacking in North Van alone just in september. Brutal shit. Especially when you consider these bikes are more expensive than a car, and lots of people rely on them as modes of transport. - Fri, 24 Sep 2004 9:00am
