| ROSS B AY User Info... | I haven't been paying much attention the last 3 or 4 years, but who are considered some of the best metal bands in the world these days? Any kind of metal, I don't even really understand the genre's and differances and shit. I grew up on metal bands like Metallica and Pantera, Annihilator, Anthrax, Slayer, etc....80's stuff. Then Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel and shit like that later. I want to hear EVERYONE'S opinions on this, as I know this sort of thing usually causes a shit storm. | jdsony User Info... | I guess it depends what kinda of Metal you like. Personally I like technical stuff like "In Flames", "Norther", "Mors Principium Est". "Quo Vadis" from Montreal are suite too. If you like Power Metal "Edguy", "Avantasia", "Silent Force", and "Helloween". hmmm I guess I'm more into European bands. I'm not too into regular Metal or Death Metal so I can't suggest anything along those lines but maybe Shadows Fall. They kinda remind me of Pantera in some ways. - Fri, 2 Sep 2005 11:14am | ||
