| Josh Rosario User Info... | Hey guys, been a couple years since I've been on the boards! We've moved the band to Vancouver and we're ready to start looking for some gigs again. The only problem is I don't know anyone here or where people are booking. Anyone have any clues as to what we can do? We're in between hard rock and metal/hardcore I guess, it's hard to define our genre. Transient-Band.com Oh, and if anyone wants us to play in Vic again, we'd be more than happy to but I'd like to get us playing here for a couple months first. | Above the knee User Info... | As a metal band in Van you may be very limited in the venues that you are able to play. The biggest one, as far as I know, is Funky Winkerbeans. The promoters that deal with it are wendythirteen and brutal entertainment. Go to http://www.bloodredmetalheads.com/ and check the 'venues' forum for a list of venues in Vancouver and some discussion about each of them. It has helped me a lot! - Mon, 30 Aug 2010 3:50pm | ||
