| Jess User Info... | MUSICIANS WANTED!! I am looking for musicians/ singers to play at the Fernwood Market. I am the organizer for the new Fernwood Market which will be taking place every Saturday all summer. I am looking for musicians who would be interested in "busking" or performing at the market. Acoustic is preferred, nothing too loud or obscure, (such as heavy metal or hardcore, sorry). The market is Saturdays from 9:30 to 4:30 or later, and performers can come anywhere from for just an hour one week or for most of the day every week, as long as it is arranged in advance. If anyone wants to just show up tomorrow, that'd be great as there will be a smaller impromptu market, but the "grand opening" will be next Saturday, June 19th. | Jess User Info... | Only if you hide it :) There will be some kids there and such.. The market is at Fernwood Square (at Fernwood & Gladstone) so there is a restaurant there called The Thin Edge of the Wedge, which sells beer and has outdoor tables. There is also a pub called the George and Dragon accross the street. If you were to bring any of your own beer or alcohol or drugs, you would have to consume it discreetly in a hidden spot. - Mon, 14 Jun 2004 9:15pm | ||
