| J.Blotz | Many of you have done this.. how's it worked for you? Any pointers? My band has discussed doing this, and we'd value your input. - Tue, 1 Apr 2003 6:21pm | ||
| Mr. Hell User Info... | If you are in charge of the spot (ie. your name is on the lease) make sure a set of solid rules is set and made clear and with serious infractions of these rules, said band is immediately ejected. Better to be friends with the band, unless they are irresponsible. Main points are making sure rent is paid in full on the first of the month, avoiding police interest in the place due to dumbass partying, avoiding having your gear ripped off by shady people who dumbasses may bring to the spot that you jam in. Having said that, our jam space renters have been doing very well following the set rules as of late! Keep up the good work, knuckleheads! - Tue, 1 Apr 2003 6:23pm | ||
| feelslikeathreeyearold | blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah Give us a break man!!! Nothing wrong with partyin as long as it's kept cool! If your gear is so unsecure to allow a doofuss to come in and steal it after a jamparty then you deserve to lose it! As for the cops, well as long as you have a super sound proof room then they won't know dick! If you're in a res area then stay inside, no sound leakage, no problems! - Tue, 1 Apr 2003 6:30pm | ||

| Anonymous | Sounds like these guys are still livin at home with their mommies and daddies - well, its a good life til they kick you out on your ass for being potential lifetime losers! - Tue, 1 Apr 2003 6:42pm | ||
| Mr. Hell User Info... | Oh how the morons of this board continue to amaze me. The term was dumbass partying. Like getting loud outside the room and smashing bottles onto the road and shit like that. No matter how secure your gear is, a crackhead on a mission is capable of much. Your jamspot may be very soundproofed, but it only takes some drunk fools to leave the doors wide open while jamming to incite noise complaints. Rules were made to keep the stupid in line. If there were no stupid people, there'd be no rules in the world. And that being said, the bands we share our spot with are smart and great people! I was but offering some ideas to insure everyone gets along. Now go fuck yourselves, juveniles. - Tue, 1 Apr 2003 7:08pm | ||
