o.k. I forgot ya cant post on this site without some goof ripping you apart, so in the ever so popular style of this site, fuck you dickhead. So anyhow, we played the all ager out in north van tonight. We played one of the worst shows ever. Now we get to the part I love. Teenage kids, as long as you show up and give it your all they love you. It didn't matter that we fucked up all over the place, they still danced to all the songs, bought all of our shirts and c.d.s an asked us back to play again. Good thing it wasn't in victoria or people would have been sitting at home ripping us apart forever. So after the show we all headed down to the Astoria to see the sweathogs and cum soc. It was a bar full of victoria. The show ruled and now I'm gonna go and get back in the other rooms to the after party.I love this city, people aren't fake here they dont talk to you all sweet then go home and talk shit on a computer anonymously. If they've got a problem with you here you know it in about three seconds. I love that kind of honesty it's something you just dont get in victoria. - Sun, 23 Mar 2003 4:44am

Anonymous Hey Jay Brown, you're just burnt out on the board right now. People pick on you cause you've probably got the most balls to say without apologies who you/your friends are and what you're about. Of course chickenshit pussies hiding in their homes are going to be envious of you for that fact alone, no matter that you've got other things going for you, a usually ballsy attitude, a good popular band, killer musical skills, wit, a girlfriend. Think about it! And you work hard (most don't) & don't take any shit.
Enough of the peptalk. You don't need it. Glad you had a good time in Van. All ages shows can be cool like that at times, and shitty at others. Van isn't always as cool as it was this week, anyone can tell you that. I think its partly that bombs started flying and we all know that we're lucky to be hanging out with old friends and that no one's bummed yet.
I used to think that everywhere was cooler than my home town, but then when I finally moved I realized that the same shit's everywhere, you've just got to remember and focus on what you want to and let the rest slide off. Then you've won! - Sun, 23 Mar 2003 1:12pm

Nah no sis at the show. Man what a crazy weekend. Cum Soc played the best set I've ever seen them do. They have Dan Scum( singer for Death Sentence+Powerclown) playing drums for them now. He's actually a decent drummer, I was impressed. Mark Morrison was actually singing on a lot of the Dry Fisted songs. He reminded me a lot of old Accused style vocals. They fucking ripped, if they ever make it over here your gonna be kicking yourself in the ass if you miss them. The Kidnappers were the opening act at both shows we played this weekend, and man is it ever refreshing to see a bunch of young kids bust it out with so much energy. I think were gonna bring them over for a few shows this summer, so you might get a chance to see them if you want. We missed the Sweathogs set due to our show but we still got to get hammered with them later on. A lot of the old crew were there. Jake Warren( the new v.i.) got up and sang a song with dry fisted. Jamer and the boys showed up, hell even Warren Dixon was there. Thanks to the Torn Cartalige girlies for once again letting us crash at their house all weekend, you ladies rock, I hope Sheri gets better soon. It was a blast, been a sweet week the st.paddys day show ruled, then we got to have a blast this weekend too. I love it when it all just works sometimes. - Sun, 23 Mar 2003 6:10pm
