| Anonymous | The Lebhauft Collective runs shows are Felicita's every Wednesday night (much like Velvet on Sundays at Steamers and Stir Fry on Wednesdays at Lucky). Pat Best is a member of the Lebhauft Collective, therefore, I believe that they were having an "extra-special" show in honour of that. | student loanuptheass | frig. It has to do with the fact that there are endless people who live on campus, nothing happens except on wednesdays, hence, a huge turnout. Students aren't about to go to shows (punk/metal/whatever) because they need to let off more steam, weekends are spent at the lick ass dance bars, sweating up a storm and tryin to take back a warm body. The reason that weekends are not a huge turnout at Fel's is because students need to get the hell off campus. Its kinda like staying on the couch all week, what do u want to do on the weekend? | the dude abides | okay, so we've all established all the problems with fel's... in the end its probably one of the busiest pubs i've seen in the city. Its not just wednesday's that are packed, i've been in on a saturday night or friday night and its been pretty packed in there too. Fair enough its not consistantly packed, i like it there despite the student factor. It is somewhat like sitting on a couch up there eh? that sucks... but oh well. - Fri, 7 Feb 2003 1:04pm | ||
