| gabe User Info... | I NEED TO KNOW SOME RECENT GOOD POPULAR SONGS PLEASE HELP I PREFER SOME INDIE ROCK STUFF OR ANYTHING THATS CATCHY OR MELODIC THANKS - Thu, 19 Dec 2002 12:19am | ||
| Anon386 | There is no such thing as popular on this board. The Zone seems to have their spin on things though. Check out thezone.fm's band of the month. Local drivel at its best. Most of the local stuff is actually more entertaining than the commercial rubbish and you won't even have to pay more than $5 to see a few on any given night. For ready to go sort of commercial songs check out Grace Nocturnal, Armchair Cynics, Moneyshot and The Fine Options. If you want metal or punk ( well maybe moneyshot ) then check out Meatlocker7, Burnside Brawlers or Undergo. For hard rock try belt or limestone and for UVIC style CFUV stuff try Ghosts or Run Chico Run. - Thu, 19 Dec 2002 3:12am | ||
| Anon386 | Almost forgot.. for current metal you should hear allfather and within a vision. Both seem to be searching for bass players mind you but they do have recordings. - Thu, 19 Dec 2002 3:42am | ||

| *GKdc | You can start here: http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/500/tough_as_nails.html Good Luck! - Thu, 19 Dec 2002 11:42am | ||
| HariKrishnas | And please take note: If you do this, and find the Victoria band list, remmeber that Syren and Cauldron 13 only sit in those positions because they hit themselves constantly into position. I mean listen to this crap.. who would want to?? As if celtic msuic is so poooopular. - Thu, 19 Dec 2002 2:52pm | ||
| Anon386 | Tell-it-like-it-is the original post was asking specifically for indie rock or melodic music. Since he wanted it for a CD I tried to steer him to the appropriate bands who have ready to go free and well recorded music. I am sure there are others.. - Thu, 19 Dec 2002 3:00pm | ||
