Ike It HAS to be shaved (or at least trimmed short), unless you like flossing with coarse hair. Here's a tip; offer to shave it for her in the bathtub. If you do it right, she will have you doing it weekly. - Sun, 15 Dec 2002 10:30pm

Anonymous this is pathetic... - Mon, 16 Dec 2002 5:48pm
Trailer Park Boy Julian Its funny this topic came up when it did; it has been a topic of hot debate at my local watering hole lately. A few observations. I was at a party this summer where the hostess and her anestician were talking about the whole waxing process etc. They spared us no detail and didnt mince words the 7-8 dudes privy to this conversation sat in stunned silence, occasionally shifting uncomfortably in their seats at the thought of the whole process. I could see that my two gay buddies were smirking I found out later cause they thought us hetero guys were such pussies for our fear of pubic hair. One of the gay guys even commented that it all sounded kinda pedophilic to him which I can kinda see cause pubic hair is indeed one of the things that distinguishes women from girls. As far as stats go, of my buddies that I have discussed this with Id say its about 60 / 40 40% preferring shaved over natural. Generally, the guys who favour shaving etc are more on the bar star side of things, like fake tits, and prefer pro porn over amateur. Generally, the dudes who like a more natural appearance dislike clubs, hate fake boobs, and prefer amateur over pro porn.
I have experienced and enjoyed many variations of womens pubic stylings and gotta say frankly the bottom line is it dont really matter. If I find a woman hot I pretty much wanna go down on her any time any place....pubes or no pubes. Its my womans choice and Ill be damn glad to go down on her when ever she wants it. A word to the ladies if a dude wont go down on you - lose the chump!! - Mon, 16 Dec 2002 6:26pm
Anonymous write a book, asshole. noone likes to choke on a furburger. - Mon, 16 Dec 2002 6:37pm
Ike I'll never understand you bush lovers. I'm not saying that it should be completely shaved (I prefer that it isn't), but there is no way that having to burrow your tongue through a rainforest of hair, is as enjoyable as unobstructed access. Just keep it trimmed and really, offer to do it for her...you won't be sorry (as long as you have a steady hand and some moisturizing cream to massage in afterwards.) Long hair went out with the 80's. - Mon, 16 Dec 2002 6:45pm
J-rawk i HAAATTE fake tits but i also hate hair sandwitches .....WITCHES! - Mon, 16 Dec 2002 6:51pm
kate am i the only one whos feeling very attracted to 'trailer park boy' right now? hes got a great fucking point. if im gonna shave, its going to be for me and no one else. end of story. if there is a compromise between partners it can be a great experience, but you start to realise that its like fooling around with a 9 year old. whatever turns your crank you sick motherfuckers. - Mon, 16 Dec 2002 7:10pm
Ike Sick Motherfuckers?

First of all, for a woman to recieve oral pleasure, her partner's tongue is going internal. A man's partner goes external. If you're giving your partner head, you don't have to deal with hair if you don't want to. We, on the other hand, don't have a choice, unless you trim.

Second, sex is about creativity, experimentation and doing your best to please your partner. If you trim your lawn and it pleases your partner, what is wrong with that? You please him, he pleases you. No one says you have to keep doing it, but don't expect him to keep going down on you if you don't. Its called MUTUAL SATISFACTION. - Mon, 16 Dec 2002 8:34pm
kate there is a choice. i choose not to fool around with people who are shallow enough not to go down on somebody because they dont like their bodies natural state. as for comprimise, that is nothing i'm unfamiliar with in my partnerships, which all function on the basis of respect. yer a little defensive, i'm just having a sense of humor in my 'snide' remarks. but i dont have anything to apologise for. shaved or not, i always enjoy going down on a woman because of who she is, and not for her asthetics. besides, if you think we have it easier giving you guys a blowjob, then yer an idiot. this should not be about who 'has it harder', if you want to engage in sexual activity with a person, it should be an experience that makes you happy. - Mon, 16 Dec 2002 9:23pm
RAZOR kate, you rawk my socks. rad, lets make our girlfriends feel insecure about dumb shit like body hair! anyone who said that to me would be gone in 4.4 seconds. - Mon, 16 Dec 2002 9:54pm
dirk diggler ike, exactly. i WOULDNT expect her to keep up with the trimming. its entertaining. mutual satisfaction.... - Mon, 16 Dec 2002 11:23pm
Ike Hi Kate - you're swell.

Did I say giving a blowjob was easier? No, I merely said that you don't have hair to deal with; unless you deepthroat or like getting tea-bagged.

I have no problem with accepting people's bodies the way they are. I simply prefer not to go down on a big pile of hair. I am entitled to my preference. Does it make me disrespectful of women? Does it make me an asshole? I think not. If I had mounds of hair up the length of my shaft, I would sure as shit shave it, if I knew that it would make things more enjoyable for my partner. But there isn't and it is a non issue. However, If I've been to the gym, or played hockey, or haven't showered in a couple of days, I will always have a shower before I jump into the sack with my wife. And if she asked me to shave, I would - BECAUSE SHE ASKED ME.

The bottom line is that if you want to have a healty and loving relationship, you have to be open with each other to discuss and explore the things that turn the both of you on. It isn't about disrespect or arrogance - its about honesty and the desire to pleasure each other. Your remarks make my wife and women like her sound like some kind of sellouts for simply wanting to please their partners. That to me is more disrespectful than my telling her I like it when she trims. - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 1:21am

i think im totally justified in being angry when people tell me what to do with my body. if you and your wife want to do it, then all the power to ya', enjoy the razorburn, hope yer face doesnt hurt to much from all the stubble. but think about what your doing. you are promoting shame about womens bodies in there natural state. your not the first, every fucking day we're told we're not fucking good enough, that our bodies need to be in a constant state of modification to be up to bloody standards. fuck it. im not buying into that shite. im happy.if you dont like it then maybe the problem lies within you. ~kate - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 2:13pm
Kelly You have to keep in mind most of the guys who have posted are use to drunk 14 year olds. This place isn't exactly a good place to post when looking for a babysitter. - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 2:31pm
Bah Um Kate... Where exactly is anyone telling you that you have to shave/trim. Maybe I'm blind, but I'm not seeing it. - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 2:35pm
Ratman I grew up in southern california where most women shave it clean, have fake boobs and blond hair. I lived with that for 30 years. I come to live in Canada and notice a whole new race of woman. The women here are smarter and sexier mentaly. Canadian women rule!!!! no games, no bullshit, just real women. If california men knew what kind of women were here they would be in shock for the crap they've been putting up with all these years. I thought it was all white women, so I married a native girl. After living here awhile I realized it's only white california women, the ones in BC are Angels.. - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 3:12pm
The log Lady

The log wants me to commend you on your discovery. - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 3:25pm
Anonymous It's kind of ironic how when I've discussed this with guys in the past they for the most part have said "shaved". But when I asked them if they shave, they have looked at me like I'm fucked. "I don't wanna take a razor to my nuts. What if I slipped?" That's how I feel about my parts too. Thus, I trim and don't shave. It's too much of a hassel and the upkeep is retarded. I have better things to do than to worry about a bit of stubble where people usually can't even see it. - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 3:30pm
Ike Yes, your anger is justified when someone tells you what to do with your body. I am not telling you what to do with your body; I have no interest in your body. I do not tell my wife what to do with her body. I have never told my wife - or any woman - that she is not good enough. I tell her that I love her body and I do - trimmed or un-trimmed. It just so happens that we are secure enough in our relationship to share our likes and desires without reading anything into it. We simply like to please each other. It is healthy and there is nothing wrong with that.
This subject started with a person asking about other people's preferences. I responded and looking back, my initial response lacked tact and class. I apologize for that. However, I certainly do not intend to convey a message stating, "shame on you women who do not shave", I am simply stating my preference and why I have that preference. Trimming is not a bad thing and not trimming is not a bad thing. I have not said that there is shame in either and I do not wish to promote shame or modification. But don't try and tell me that being honest, creative and open with your partner doesn't make for a healthier relationship. And for future reference, don't try to pin all men into one class of thinking; doing do is purely ignorant.
And to whoever posted the "Drunk 14 year old comment": May I suggest you pull your head out of your ass and not make assumptions with regard to people you don't know. Or at least base them on something. - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 3:50pm

Hey Ike, a wise man once said the following to me " You fucking idiots are judging this guy on what he types into a fucking message board. And if you or XXXXXXXXX have a personal bone to pick with each other, sort it out face to face instead of sharing your laundry with everyone else. Its just fucking pathetic." sound familiar? - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 6:54pm
Ike Thats almost a good point Wreaker; I just don't think this topic is as volitile as was your's. I'm perfectly willing to leave it alone now though. - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 7:44pm

Stephanie I find that if I part my muff hair in the middle and braid each side, my man can get at me with no problems. It looks pretty cool with a little stiff gel. Trimming is cool too though. - Tue, 17 Dec 2002 9:51pm
