I highly recommend Dizzy's Blues Bar (great sound, nice setup, and a soundguy who's actually not a peice of shit!) Cambie's sound sucks, Queens are too high and mighty for metal. When are you guys planning this for? Get Adrian or whomever is setting this up to let us know a.s.a.p. OK, yeah, the 'tentative' plan is at the end of January...I actually don't get back to Nanaimo until Dec 9th so you metal keeners are gonna have to hold on for a week or two until I talk to buddy at Dizzy's about it. I'm 90% sure it's possible since Dizzy's loves our band and we brought them incredible alcohol revenue at the Halloween show, but again, I have to talk to them about it. Meatlocker7 and Gross Misconduct and Gallow's End for the line-up sounds good to me. As far as our front is concerned, Seasons of Sorrow is unfortunately temporarily out of commission due to 'personal injuries suffered upon by one of the band members.' | SentencedtoBurn User Info... | No Dizzy's is not the old Jungle. The Jungle still exists, but rarely does metal shows ( I beleive the last one was Martyr in Sept. 01). Dizzy's is run by the old soundguy from the Queen's, and has hands down the best sound in town. The Gallows boys can attest to this, we played there with them on H'ween.
