I remember reading an interview with Bob Dylan about writing where he said that sometimes the song comes out of nowhere and you're just trying to get it all down before it disappears. This one was like that. Standing in the line for coffee, one lyric after another appearing in my head, trying to keep them all there until I could get back out to the car to write them down.
