since circa 2011
Swansona is an instrumental quartet from Vancouver, BC - deriving its name from the juxposition between the poisonous but alluring Swainsona flower, and the myth of the swan song; the belief that the Mute Swan is completely silent during its lifetime until the moment just before death, when it sings one beautiful song.
