SingYourJoy is a diverse community of young adults - a welcoming place that strives to remove barriers to belonging and participation - one that hopes to model the kind of community we would dream into being.
We are a non-auditioned mixed-voice community chorus, open to all people ages 16-29. Our members may be new to the city, starting new careers, entering a new field of study, or just determining who they are. SingYourJoy offers the unique opportunity of a safe space for creative expression, learning new skills and forming new friendships. The chorus was co-founded and is currently co-directed by Christine Chepyha and Gordon Miller.
While we enjoying performing for our enthusiastic and growing audiences, SingYourJoy is also deeply committed to building community. We work together not only to sing well, but to learn and grown and contribute to the places where we live, work and play.
SingYourJoy offers two locations in the greater Victoria region: Monday nights in Victoria (at Oak Bay United - corner of Mitchell and Granite Streets) and Thursday nights in WestShore (at Redeemer Lutheran - 3024 Jacklin Road).
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
