Wolfmother, that titanic trio from Down Under, is bringing its thunder back to North America. Acclaimed for its self-titled debut, Wolfmother has been wowing audiences and critics alike with a sound that updates the classic sounds of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and other metal progenitors for a new generation. The disc debuted at #3 on the Australian charts, won the Album Of The Year award from national alternative radio network Triple J, and was quickly certified platinum. Critics fell over themselves in efforts to praise the band: “Pagan popo genius from outer space,” proclaimed NME. “Wolfmother does everything it needs to… great riffs, spiked with hooks and sounds enormously vibrant and alive,” said Rolling Stone.
