"I regret to inform everybody that we must cancel/postpone the high on fire dates in Pacific North-West in September.
HonF drummer Des Kensel has to have spinal surgery on Sept 5th. His has a herniated disc putting pressure and causing damage to his spine!

Desi just today heard from the surgeons office and it looks like his insurance approved and the surgeons are rushing him under the knife at 6:00 AM on 9/5. The Dr. felt really strongly about getting this done ASAP because of the pressure his spinal cord is under right now and the chance of more permanent damage and paralysis is high. Recovery time is around 6 weeks.

As far as spinal surgery goes, it’s not that risky ,but it’s still major spine surgery so we’re all a little nervous but staying confident this will fix him up good finally. :)
