Biography:
Award-nominated guitarist and composer Adam Dobres has spent more than two decades touring and recording with some of Canada's most celebrated artists, including The Wailin' Jennys, Ruth Moody, Toni Childs, and Pierre Schryer.
Career highlights include opening for Mark Knopfler at London's Royal Albert Hall and performing on the legendary radio program A Prairie Home Companion.
In concert, Adam brings audiences into a world of breathtaking fingerstyle guitar, Celtic influences, gypsy jazz energy, and deeply moving original compositions.
His acclaimed albums and recent orchestral work, Freda's Journey Suite, showcase a musician whose performances are equal parts virtuosity, storytelling, and heart. Whether soaring, intimate, or adventurous, Adam's music leaves audiences inspired long after the final note.
