Event Description

Spring skiing doesn’t get more iconic than Slush Cup, the ultimate May Long Weekend party at Banff Sunshine Village and one of the best ways to send off the season.

Each year, skiers and riders take on the classic spring challenge by skimming across an icy pool of water in front of a high energy crowd. Some glide across. Some take a splash. All of it delivers big laughs, bold attempts, and unforgettable moments. Costumes are encouraged, creativity is rewarded, and the atmosphere is pure Sunshine.

Whether you’re charging the pond or cheering from the sidelines, Slush Cup is the perfect way to celebrate spring skiing, soak up the vibes, and close out another incredible season on Canada’s Best Snow.

Wrap up the season in true Banff Sunshine style with the iconic Slush Cup over the May long weekend. Skiers and riders don their most outrageous costumes and attempt to skim across a freezing pool of water, with varying degrees of success. Come for the pond skim and stay for live DJs, patio drinks and one of the most legendary spring parties in the Rockies.
