VICTORIA, B.C. The public is invited to Ruminate, Camosun College’s Visual; Arts’ 2026 graduating exhibition, a capstone event featuring the work of students completing two years of intensive studio art study. The exhibition runs April 17 to 26, from 3-7pm daily at 955 Wharf Street. An opening reception will be held April 16 from 5 to 9pm.
Experience an inspiring interdisciplinary exhibition featuring painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, video, animation, film, and performance. Graduating artists and faculty will be on hand to welcome visitors and celebrate this significant milestone.
“This event marks the culmination of the Visual Arts diploma program and highlights the creativity, technical skills, and conceptual growth students have achieved,” says Nancy Yakimoski, Chair of the Visual Arts program. “It offers the public a unique chance to engage with emerging artists and explore new voices in the local contemporary art scene.”
Camosun Visual Arts warmly acknowledges Jon Stovell, President of Reliance Properties, and the Reliance team for their donation of the use of the exhibition space, along with their generous support and ongoing commitment to nurturing the arts community in Victoria and beyond.
