Event Description

Descend into a red-lit den of smoke and sin for the inaugural Devil's Nite party, presented by Good Fortune. Capital Ballroom will be transformed into a playground for your dark side, with Weezie and Sport Mode guiding the dance floor. Other devilish elements to be announced soon.

Come in costume. Win Prizes. Revel in the heat.

DJs:

Louisa, aka Weezie, is a Victoria-based DJ steadily building a reputation as one of the Garden City’s favorite house selectors. This past few years marked a debut at Bass Coast Festival, and saw her featured on lineups at Paradise, SLAB and Club Loading. Known for her warm, groove-focused sets, her sound balances nostalgia and playfulness in equal measure. Expect moments that are as emotionally resonant as they are dancefloor-driven, with selections that keep dancers locked in and lifted.

Sport Mode (Claire Butterfield) is a shape-shifting DJ from Victoria, BC, known for crafting high-energy, melodic moments on the dance floor. From old-school funk to shimmering disco edits, sentimental deep house to head-spinning tech house, her sets take people on a journey while keeping crowds moving. She has played multiple festivals across the Southern West Coast — including the Dome at Rifflandia in 2024 — and performs regularly in Victoria and Vancouver.
